LabiArq - Research Group on Lusophone Architecture and Dwelling Spaces - is a unit of the Research Center for Architecture, Urbanism, and Design (CIAUD) at the Faculty of Architecture of the University of Lisbon (FAUL). The Group consists of a multidisciplinary team composed of professors and researchers from FAUL, as well as PhD and Master's students from FAUL, who conduct research in the Group’s area of expertise. The Group aims to: develop research projects on the theme of Dwelling Spaces in the Lusophone world; collaborate on projects developed by other researchers, teams, and research groups, in which it can contribute through its knowledge of the defined theme; host individual research projects developed by its members or collaborators in this field of knowledge and research; establish a network of relationships with national and international centers, research groups, and researchers who have common or complementary interests and can participate in the developed projects as collaborators or consultants. Its main objective is to conduct research in Architecture, focusing on Dwelling Spaces, in their multiple scales, dimensions, and interpretations, in the Lusophone countries: Portugal, Brazil, and other Portuguese-speaking countries.
